ORDER:

          It is informed that as per RTE Act-2009 after constituted of theSchool Management Committee in the school, the Head Master/Convener ofthe School Management Committee should conduct the SMC Meetings withelected Members every month and the minutes and decisions of the same shallbe properly recorded and made available to the public.Conduct of SMC Meetings every month is essential for achievinggoals of SSA Activities i.e Access, Enrollment, retention and qualitf ofeducation. Further it is also useful for monitoring the working of the school,utilization of grants, preparation of school development plan and formonitoring the implementation the Mid-Day Meal in the schools.In view of the above all the Mandal Educational Officers in thedistrict are hereby instructed to issue instructions to all concerned HeadMasters of their Mandals to conduct the SMC meetings every month withoutfail and see that minutes and decisions should be recorded. Further the MandalEducational Officers are also instructed to send the consolidated report of eachschool along with photos to the under singed without fail.
