ORDER

           All the RJDSEs and DEOs in the State are informed that the NIT, Warangal which is mentoring institution identified by MHRD under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan has come forward to organize one month summer camp for the High school students in the NIT campus, Warangal from 1" May to 31" May, 2018 In this summer camp, the students will be exposed to the advances made In Science, Technology and Mathematics subjects by having interaction with faculty of NIT and Research scholars. In this summer camp they will have exposure of working in the Science Labs under the guidance of faculty and Research scholars, where the students will have the opportunity of stimulating thinking, developing innovative thoughts in Science and Mathematics subjects. Further they have a chance to see the infrastructural facilities available in the NIT like Library, Computer labs and other Labs In this connection, about 50 best students shall be chosen for the proposed summer camp. This opportunity may also be utilized by the students who were selected for Inspire wards, where they can have close interaction with the faculty /Research scholars of NIT on the project/model identified under INSPIRE SCHEME. As the DLEPCs of Inspire awards will be conducted in the month of June/July 2018, this proposed summer camp going to be organized by NIT, Warangal will be a boon for the students to have exposure to scientific research methodology and also for developing innovative projects/models for INSPIRE awards. Therefore, the DEOs and DSOs of all districts are instructed to communicate the information of organization of one month summer camp to all the Secondary schools under the Government (Govt, Local bodies, Aided, KGBV, TS Model Schools/ All Residential Schools) in the District and to send the list of talented students preferably the INSPIRE awardees (classes VIII to X) who are willing to attend the proposed summer camp in the prescribed format. For such students the consent of the parents shall be taken. Further, they are requested to send the list of students to this office by 16 April, 2018 for further screening and finalization of students.
