       A copy of the letter cited along with Election Commission of India Order No. 3/4/ID/ECI/LET/FUNC/JUD/SDR-Vol.II/2018, dt.1.11.2018 is communicated heethto all the Collectors & District Election Officers and the Commissioner GHMC & D.E.O., Hyderabad and they are requested to inform the contents of the ECI letter and Order to all the Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers Presiding Officers, all other election authorities concerned in the district; to note the implications of the said Presiding Officers through special briefing also requested t with the Presiding Officers at all polling. stat copy of the Order transla each of the Presiding Officers and to explain the contents thereof to all ll the District sure that a copy of the ECI letter and Order shall be available uency. A acular language should also be supplie All the DEOs are informed that the ECI in its letter cited, stated that its eas of the Identification on colum should b asis of the EPIC and Authenticated Photo voter S enoting and respectively, is mentioned in the relevant column, and it is not necessary to write down the number of the EPIC or the Photo Voter Slip. However, in the case of those who vote on the basis of any alternative documents, the instructions to note down the last four digits of the document shall continue to apply. The type of the document produced should also be mentioned therein All the District Election Officers are further requested to give the Commission's Order wide publicity through print / electronic media for information of the general public and electors and this may also be brought to the notice of all contesting candidates. All contesting candidates at the said elections may also be informed, in writing, of this direction of the Commission and send a report of compliance to this office immediately
