     Some of the District Collectors are seeking clarification whether Model Code of Conduct is still in operation or not since poll process to MPTCs and ZPTCs is completed and the counting is postponed. In this regard, it is clarified that, Model Code of Conduct (MCoC) will remain in force till the completion of election process i.e., counting of votes and declaration of results. If Collectors & DEAs or any Government Departments make a request to SEC for permission in cases of dire necessity, the Commission will examine and take appropriate decision.
