      Municipal Administration Department-Implementation of "Ananda Vedika Programme in the state Orientation of School Heads and Teachers- Certain Guidelines issued by the Commissioner, School Education Dept.- Communicated- Regarding Proc.Roc.No.S.P.03/C/SCERT/2018, dt.23.06.2019 of the Commissioner of School Education Dept., AP, Amaravati.

   The attention of all the Commissioners of the (59) Urban Local Bodies in the State where Municipal Schools exists is invited to the reference (copy enclosed), wherein the Commissioner of School Education Dept., AP Amaravati has informed that, the Department of School Education has planned for the implementation of "Ananda Vedika" a flagship programme for the better social and emotional learning of the students, from class I to 10. The SCERT has developed curriculum for its implementation during the 1 period as prescribed in the SCERT academic calendar and it is proposed to practice the curriculum before going for actual training for better insights into it, and further planned to conduct Divisional level and Mandal level orientations to the Head Masters and Teachers of Primary, Upper Primary and High Schools and accordingly issued guidelines and timelines for the said programme

Therefore, all the Commissioners of the (59) Urban Local Bodies in the State where Municipal Schools exists are hereby informed that, it is practice in vogue, all the academic activities are being done in Municipal Schools on par with Government and Zilla Parishad High Schools. Hence, the guidelines and timelines of the Commissioner, School Education Department regarding implementation of Ananda Vedika Programme are hereby communicated to all the Commissioners of (59) ULBS for taking further necessary action in the matter. Treat this as Top Priority. Any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously.
