    It is to inform that, every year Government celebrates Teachers Day on 5th September and presents the Best Teacher Awards to Teachers/Lecturers to acknowledge their meritorious service in Schools and Colleges. In view of the Covid 19 Pandemic situation this year and restriction on gatherings etc., Government have decided to felicitate the awardees by ensuring that the awards are handed over to them personally at their homes by the concerned District Authorities nominated for the purpose. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education ; Commissioner of Technical Education ; Commissioner of Intermediate Education and Director of School Education are directed to ensure the 2. above by issuing detailed instructions to District Authorities to implement the above instructions scrupulously on 5th September I.e. Teachers Day.
