Lr.No. NYSF/09/2021-2022 dt : 09-12-2021 of the Secretary General, National Yogasana Sports Federation, New Delhi It is Informed that the Under the Secretary of Government, Ministry of Education, Department of School Educatlon and Literacy, GOI, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi while enclosing a copy of Letter dated 09-12-2021 Secretary General, National Yogasana Sports Federation, New Delhi is informed that on the occasion of 75th Anniversary of Independence Day they have decided to run a project of 750 million Surya Namasakar in V 30 states, involving 30,000 institutions and 3 lakh students. In this regard they requested to give direction to the schools under our jurisdiction to take part in this programme and make the programme a grand success by encouraging maximum participation. 

Further, the National Yogasana Sports Federation vide reference 2nd read above Ji has decided to run a project of 750 million Surya Namasakar in 30 States, involving 3,0000 institutions and 3 lakh students. For this a Programme starting from 1st January,2022 to 7th February, 2022 is planned. A musical performance on Surya Namaskar is also planned on 26th January, 2022. Detail of the programme are attached herewith.

 In view of the above while enclosing coples of the references read above, all I the District Educational Officers and Regional Joint Director of School Education in the state are hereby requested to issue instructions to all the MEO's & Head Masters of the schools under their jurisdiction with a request to see that more number of schools participate in the Surya Namaskar Project and make the initiative successful.

 Further requested to subrnit a report in the matter.
