Sub : STATE FESTIVALS Erstwhile Warangal District Sri Sammakka Saralamma Jathra , 2022 Medaram Village of S.S. Tadvai Mandal of Mulug District - Declaration of Local Holiday on 18.02.2022 - Sri Sammakka Saralamma Goddesses stay on the Gaddelu and to offer worship to the Goddesses by the citizens both employees and people of Warangal district - Orders - Issued .

 -oOo ORDER : 

The Government of Telangana has issued the dates for conducting the State Festival of Sri Sammakka Saralamma Jathra which has to be conducted Bi - annually in Medaram Village of S.S. Tadvai Mandal of Mulug District and the Jathra , 2020 is scheduled to be held on 16.02.2022 to 19.02.2022 to offer worship to the Goddesses by all the people ( Worshippers ) . 

In view of the above and in exercise of the powers conferred by me , I Dr. B. GOPI , I.A.S. , Collector & District Magistrate , Warangal is hereby declares the Local Holiday on 18.02.2022 ( Friday ) in the Jurisdiction of Warangal district , in view of the arrival and stay of Sri Sammakka Saralamma Goddesses on the Gaddelu . 

It is applicable to all the State Government Offices , all Educational Institutions and Local bodies , except Treasuries and Banks located in Warangal district . In lieu of the above , holiday declared on 18.02.2022 , the next 2nd Saturday i.e. , 12th March , 2022 will be the working day . This holiday will not be applicable to various establishments which come under Negotiable Instruments Act of 1881 .
