Tenes కాలాలు :

1. Present Tense వర్త మాన కాలం

2. Past Tense భూత కాలం

3. Future Tense భవిష్యత్ కాలం

వీటి అన్నింటిలో మళ్ళీ నాలుగేసి కాలాలు ఉంటాయి.

అవి

a. Simple

b. Continuous

c. Perfect

d. Perfect Continuous

Tenses కు ముఖ్యమైనవి Verb క్రియ రకాలు అవి

1. Base Verb (V1) లు: ఉదా Speak, Write, Laugh

2. s/es/ies Verb లు : ఉదా Speaks, Writes, laughs

3. Ing Verb లు : ఉదా speaking, writing, laughs

4. Past Verb (V2): Ex spoke, wrote, laudged

5. Past participle (V3): spoken, written, laughed

ఇందులో,

 1,2 లను Present లో వాడుతారు

 3 లను అన్ని రకాల Continuous Tenses లలో వాడుతారు 

 4. Past లో వాడుతారు

 5. ను అన్ని రకాల Perfect Tenses లలో వాడుతారు

Present Tense వర్త మాన కాలం:

1 a) Simple Present Tense: 

అలవాటు గా చేసేవి చర్య

I read book everyday

తరచుగా చేసేవి చర్యలు

Oil floats on water

సాధారణ వాడేవి చర్యలు

His father works in a school

సూత్రం: Subject + V1 

1 b) Present Continuous Tense: 

ఇప్పుడు జరుగుతున్న చర్య 

I'm cooking now

ఇప్పుడు జరుగుతున్నప్పుడు కానీ ఇప్పుడు కచ్చితమైన సమయం కాదు

My brother is reading a book

సూత్రం: S+is/are+V1+ing

ఈ క్రింద గల పదాలు ఈ Tense లో సాధారణంగా వాడరు అవి

Senses: See, hear, smell, taste ,notice,

Thinking: think, suppose, believe, know, understand, remember, forget, agree, 

Feelings:want, wish, like, love, dislike, hate, 

Appear: appear, look, seem, 

Possessive: have, posses, own, belong, 

Others :contain, consist, cost, weigh

1 c) Present Perfect Tense:

ఒక చర్య గతంలో జరిగిన దాని ఫలితము ఇప్పుడు వచ్చినప్పుడు

The bus has arrived

గతంలో జరిగిన చర్య కు ఇప్పుడు జరుగుతున్న చర్య కు సంబంధమును తెలిపిన ప్పుడు

I finished my work at four

ఇంతకు ముందు జరిగిన చర్య

He has just gone out

నిర్వచనం చేయలేని గతం లో జరిగిన చర్య

I have never seen The PM

సూత్రం: Subject + have + V3

1 d ) Present Perfect Continuous Tense:

గతంలో మొదలు అయిన చర్య ఇప్పటికీ జరుగుతున్నపుడు

I have been writing here for six years

గతంలో పూర్తి అయిన చర్య యొక్క ఫలితం ఇప్పుడు వచ్చినప్పుడు

Iam very tired I have been playing

సూత్రం: Subject + have + been + V1 + ing

2. Past Tenses భూత కాలం

2 a ) Simple Past Tense:

తరచుగా చేసేవి చర్యలు

Oil floats on water

సాధారణ వాడేవి చర్యలు

His father works in a school

సూత్రం: Subject + V2

2 b ) Past Continuous Tense

గతంలో పూర్తి కాని చర్య

When Raju was cycling home,a tyre punctured

సూత్రం: Subject+was/were+V1+ing

2 c ) Past Perfect Tense

నిర్దిష్ట సమయానికి పూర్తి అయిన చర్య

By 8 o clock I had done my homework

సూత్రం: Subject+had + V3

2 d ) Past Perfect Continuous Tense

సూత్రం: Subject +had+been+ V1+ing

3. Future Tenses భవిష్యత్ కాలం

3 a ) Simple Future Tense:

భవిష్యత్ లో జరుగబోయే చర్య

Raju will write

సూత్రం: S+will+V1

3 b ) Future Continuous Tense:

భవిష్యత్ లో కొంత కాలం జరుగబోయే చర్య

We will be waiting for you when you arrive at the airport

సూత్రం: S+will+be+V1+ing

3 c ) Future Perfect Tense:

భవిష్యత్ లో పూర్తి అయ్యే చర్య

By this time tomorrow I will have finished the work

సూత్రం: S+will+have+V3

3 d ) Future Perfect Continuous Tense:

సూత్రం: S+will+have+been+V1+ing
