Recommendations of the First Pay Revision Commission - Revision of scale of pay for

Travel by Air - Orders - Issued.

PRC- Revision of scale of pay for 
Travel by Air - G.O.Ms.No.52 Dated: 22nd June, 2023.

 Read the following:-

1. G.O.Ms.No.71, Finance (HRM.IV) Department, dated: 04.05.2017.

2. G.O.Ms.No.86, General Administration (Spl.C) Department, dated: 

18.5.2018.

3. G.O.Ms.No.51, Finance (HRM.IV) Department, dated: 11.6.2021.

O R D E R:

In the Government order 3

rd read above, based on the recommendations of 

First Pay Revision Commission, orders were issued implementing the Revised Pay 

Scales, 2020 to the State Government employees.

2. Government in the reference 1st read above, issued orders fixing the eligibility 

criteria for Air Travel.

3. The First Pay Revision Commission inter alia has recommended for 

corresponding revision in the eligibility criteria for Air Travel.

4. Government, after careful consideration of the recommendations of the First 

Pay Revision Commission and in modification of the orders issued in Government order 

1st read above, hereby revise the existing ceiling on eligibility criteria for Air Travel, as

follows;

a) All Officers drawing pay in the scale of pay of Rs.96,890 - 1,58,380 and 

above in the Revised Pay Scales, 2020 shall be eligible to perform 

journey by Air on official duty

b) All India Services Officers and All Heads of Department irrespective of 

their scale of pay shall be eligible to perform journey by Air on official 

duty
