CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ICT INTEGRATION IN TECH-ENABLED CLASSROOMS

A virtual mode based professional development course designed to equip teachers with the usage of technology in classrooms. Each of the six sessions would be of 1.5 hours.

Beginner Level Curriculum:

1. Content Curation and Use of Multimedia: This module will introduce participants to the fundamentals of content curation, including sourcing, organizing and sharing relevant multimedia content across various platforms.

2. Email Management: participants will learn effective strategies for organizing, prioritizing and responding to emails efficiently to enhance productivity and communication skills.

3. Google Drive and Forms Creation: This session will cover the basics of Google Dive for file storage, collaboration and forms for creating surveys, quizzes and data collection.

4. Poster Designing and Creation using Canva: Participants will delve into the world of graphic design by learning to create eye-catching posters and visuals using the user-friendly platform such as Canva.

Intermediate Level Curriculum:

1. Word Processing Proficiency: This module will focus on advanced features of word processing software, including formatting, templates, mail merge, and collaboration tools.

2. Spreadsheet Management: Participants will develop proficiency in spreadsheet software, mastering functions, formulas, data analysis and visualization techniques for effective data management.

3. Mastering Presentation Skills: This session will explore advanced presentation techniques, including storytelling, visual design principles, and audience engagement strategies to deliver impactful presentations.

4. Content Curation and Use of Multimedia (Advanced): Building upon the beginner-level module, this session will delve deeper into advanced content curation strategies, including multi-media integration.

Delivery Format:

The training program will be delivered through a combination of live virtual session, self-paced online modules, interactive exercises and hands-on practical assignments. Participants will have access to comprehensive learning materials, including video tutorials, step-by-step guides and supplementary resources.

Outcome:

Upon completion of the program, participants will gain a solid understanding of essential digital skills, enabling them to enhance their productivity, communication and creativity in both personal and professional contexts.
