Engaging the primary classes in need by teachers working in High Schools Rc.No A1/Edn/2024 Dated: 27.07.2024- Mancherial Dist

Sub:- School Education- Engaging the primary classes in need by teachers working in High Schools (Where primary schools are working in the same premises of high schools) and Upper Primary schools along with primary sections- Instructions - Issued.

It has been brought to the notice of the undersigned that some High Schools are running with more number of teachers and sections are less. As a result, many teachers are getting more number of leisure periods. The High Schools have primary schools in the same premises and there are a very less number of teachers in them. They are single teacher or two teacher schools and the strength in those schools is high. Even at such times, the teachers who are working in High Schools don't feel any responsibility and simply they are keeping quiet instead of going and engaging such classes in the Primary Schools.

In addition to the above, it is also noticed during visit that the teachers in the Language Pandit / School Assistant cadre working in the Upper Primary Schools are reluctant to at least engage or take some classes of primary sections of the same school even though there is a very less strength in the upper primary sections.

In view of the above, the Head Masters of the High Schools where High School and Primary Schools are functioning in the same campus/premises are directed to allot periods to the High School teachers in their leisure period to engage the primary sections. It is also instructed that the Headmasters of Upper Primary schools that they should allot periods to Language Pandits / School Assistants to engage the primary sections where there is a very less strength in upper primary sections and need in primary sections. If any teacher denies the instructions of the Head Masters of High School / Upper Primary School, such teachers are liable for disciplinary action.

The Mandal Educational Officers, the Mandal Nodal Officers and the School Complex Head Masters are directed to see that above instructions are implemented properly.

Keemar Deepak District Collector & District Magistrate, Mancherial District.
