The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state is invited to the subject read above, Vidya Pravesh a three month (12 weeks) play based School Preparation Module (SPM) for Class I students was developed which is also aligned to the learning outcomes. Based on this, SCERT has developed a three month School Preparation Module for Class I in three languages i.e. Telugu, English & Urdu as per the state strategies and transactional methods. The purpose of School Preparation Module is to help teachers to ensure that all children are exposed to a warm and welcoming environment when they enter Class I, leading to the process of learning in a smooth, fearless and joyful way.

In this regard, the District Educational Officers in the state are informed that NCERT is going to conduct a survey on SPM in the first week of July. So you are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the MEOs and Headmasters for the effective implementation of the School Preparation Module for 12 weeks for class 1 from the beginning of the academic year 2024-25. The material pertaining to SPM is uploaded in SCERT website

.scert.telangana.gov.in) and orientation on School Preparation Module (SPM) links is available in YouTube T-SAT (Nipuna) channel. Also the hard copies pertaining to School Preparation Module will be disseminated to all the schools in the state by the Govt. Textbook Press.

Therefore, the DEOs are informed to instruct the MEOs and lead Masters in the state to implement SPM for 12 weeks/3 months based on Vidya Pravesh guidelines for all the students who are admitted in class 1.
