Latest Guidelines on LIP for High School dated 09.08.2024 and Baseline Question Papers

The attention of all the District Educational Officers and Regional Joint Directors of School Education in the State is invited to the reference 1" read above.

They are aware that the Learning Improvement Programme (LIP) is a quality improvement programme which is being implemented from the academic year 2023-24 with an objective to address the learning gaps and to improve subject specific learning outcomes among the students of classes 6th to 9th studying in Govt./Local body/Model Schools/KGBVS/TSREIS.

They are further aware that various consultative meetings were conducted with the DEOS and other stakeholders and collected feedback from them with regard to modifications in the guidelines required for effective implementation of the programme during 2024-25. Accordingly, the Director, SCERT, Telangana, Hyderabad has submitted proposals for certain modifications in the guidelines on implementation of LIP Programme during 2024-25.

In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers and the Regional Joint Directors of School Education in the State are informed that certain modifications are made for certain components of LIP that are specifically mentioned in the Annexure-1 enclosed herewith and the other components that are not specifically mentioned shall be implemented as per existing guidelines. Further, revised subject-wise teaching strategies/steps are mentioned in Annexure-II.

They are further informed that as per the job chart of the Mandal Nodal Officers & Complex nodal officers vide reference 1ª cited, shall visit Schools in the respective mandal for at least 2 days in a week covering 4 to 5 schools for effective implementation of FLN & LIP. They are also requested to ensure that Mandal FLN Nodal Officers are available for all Mandals in the
