Sub:- School Education Department International Girl Child Day on 11-10-2024 Conduct competitions i.e., Essay Writing, Debates and Painting among all Govt. School Children - Reg.

All the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby informed that, the Director of Health and Family Welfare, A.P. has stated that on the view of the International Girl Child Day on 11th October, 2024, it has been decided to conduct competitions among all the Government School Children on save the girl child norm, at District level through Essay Writing. Debates and Painting in Coordination with the education department.

In this connection, the Director of Health and Family Welfare, Andhra Pradesh has requested to issue instructions to all the District Educational Officers in the State that the schools shall conduct above said competitions to the Government school children in the month of September, 2024 in coordination with the District Medical & Health Officer of the concerned District.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby requested to issue necessary instructions to all the field level functionaries and Head Masters with a request to conduct competitions i.e. Essay Writing, Debates and Painting on celebration of the International Girl Child Day among all Government School Children on 30-09-2024 in coordination with the District Medical & Health Officer of the concerned district, without affecting the regular academic calendar.
