Admission Notification into BR Ambedkar Open University Distance BEd / In-service BEd Details, Eligibility

The candidate has to register for appearing B.Ed. Admission Entrance Test on University portal www.braouonline.in only. Registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C./S. T/PWD candidate may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online on or before 21-12-2024.

Please Go through the following instructions and register accordingly.

1. Visit University portal www.braouonline.in

2. Documents and other details required for submission of Application through Online. B.Ed.

1) SSC/Equivalent/Birth Certificate for date of birth proof.

2) Degree/PG Marks Memos and Provisional /Convocation certificates.

3) The following two conditions must fulfill to get admission into B.Ed. (ODL):

(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to face mode.

4) Medical Board Certificate (for PH candidates issued by Competent Authority)

5) Latest Passport size Photo with Signature (JPEG format and less than 60 KB).

6) Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority (latest)

7) Service certificate (Issued by MEO / Dy. E. O)

8) EWS Certificate (If Eligible)

9) Special category certificates- Sports, NCC and CAP

Eligibility 

1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

2. Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks either B.A./ B.Sc./

B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech.

3. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40%marks in the qualifying examination.

4. The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/ B.Tech

must have Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.

5. B.C.A. candidates must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the Methodology.

6. The candidate do not have required percentage of marks in Undergraduate,

the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied

relevant subject at PG)

7. The following conditions must fulfill to get admission into B.Ed. (ODL):

(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

(ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education

8. The reservations for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories are as per rules in vogue.

9. EWS quota seats will allotted to the eligible candidates on production of

 the relevant certificates/documents.

10. PH, Sports, NCC and CAP quota seats will be allotted to the eligible  candidates on production of the relevantcertificates/documents.

11.Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2024. There shall be

no upper age limit.
