Conduct of Parents Meeting in January 2025 certain guidelines 

In this context, they are requested to ensure the following.

i) Prior intimation to parents by sending invitation in writing through the students of the School by HMs well in advance to invite them for PTM in order to ensure 100% participation by parents as role of parents is crucial for academic growth of their children.

ii) To connect the school with society in general and in particular with the major stake holders of school i.e., parents.

iii) To get the support of Parents to improve enrollment.

iv) To involve parents as key stake holders in school developmental activities and for academic growth of the students and the Institution.

v) HMs shall specially focus on parents who did not turn up so far for PTMs and to ensure their attendance.

vi) Send an invitation to the parents indicating time and date of the PTM, request the parents to bring their phones to the meeting.

vii) The Head masters/Teachers shall also register students using the school UDISE code on the app.

viii) As most of the parents in Rural Area engaged in agriculture work and in Urban Areas are engaged with other works, it is suggested that the PTM may be held at a convenient time to enable the parents to attend the Meeting.

ENGAGE	Welcoming parents	10-15 mins	Welcome the parents/guardians as they enter the school and make them seated in a classroom Place an attendance register in the classroom and have them sign it. Start the meeting at the designated time or within 10 minutes from the designated time with the parents who have arrived Extend a formal welcome to the parents and conduct an ice breaker activity. Ice breaker - activity All parents are handed over small chits of paper where they write their child's name and a note of appreciation for him/her. They may take peer/teacher support if they have difficulty in writing Teachers may collect the chits which they later distribute to the respective child during the day.
EDUCATE	Discussion on Understanding Child Safety, Understanding a parent's	20 mins	Share with the parents that PTMs happen every month, Communicate that parents are expected to attend these meetings to partner with the school in their children's growth and development Refer to the poster Understanding Child Safety, Understanding a parent's role' and discuss the following points as mentioned in the poster. What actions make children feel unsafe? What can parents do, to ensure children are safe?
