Sanction is here by accorded for an amount of Rs.9,75,000/-(Nine lakhs ortorand Seventy five thousand only) to all the DEOs in the state with a request to reallocate the funds to the students of 195 schools of PMSHRI Phase II (SDUS) from 01.01.2025 to 28.02.2025 for providing Financial Literacy to the students at Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) for two months.

The DEOs are informed that in PFMS, the bank accounts of DPOs and all Sub District Units are Zero balance accounts. There is no physical transfer of funds to DPOS/SDUs from SNA of SPO as and when sanctioned by SPD. The funds so sanctioned will appear in SNA Account of SPO till DEOs/HMs actually incurs expenditure by generating PPAs. Then only balance to that extent will be reduced in SNA and reflected as expenditure incurred by that unit. Therefore the Head Masters are requested to conduct the activity i.e., impart orientation through retired bank personals/BCom/CA, on bank financial terms like Expenses, Savings and also about digital banking (UPI, Net banking) to inculcate awareness on financial literacy and incur expenditure.
