All the District Educational Officers in the State are aware that the SSC examinations for the academic year 2024-25 are scheduled from 21 March 2025 to 02nd April 2025. Government have hence decided to provide snacks for class X students attending special classes in the evening hours in Govt, ZP and Model Schools from 01.02.2025 to 20.03.2025 for 38 working days.

The Unit cost per student is fixed @Rs.15/- per day. Necessary budget has been sanctioned and released to all the District Educational Officers in the State for this purpose in the reference 4th cited.

In this context they are informed that snacks which are to be provided to the students in a week are Boiled pesarlu/Palli Bellam/Millet Biscuits/Boiled Bobbarlu/Onion pakoda/Boiled senagalu mentioned in the reference 1st cited. Therefore they are requested to see that the snacks are provided as suggested above so that 6 varieties of snacks are provided to the students in a week within the unit cost.

The preparation of snacks work shall be entrusted to the Midday Meal agencies. The District Educational Officers are requested to make necessary arrangements for releasing the budget to the SMC accounts / SDUs of the concerned Schools.
