Transport/Escort facility for AWP &B for the year 2025- 26- Proposals

Sub: TSS, Hyderabad  Transport/Escort facility for AWP &B for the year 2025- 26- Proposals called for - Reg.

Ref:- D.O.No.2-3/2024-IS.2, dated: 14.01.2025 of Sri.Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS, Additional Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi.

All the District Educational Officers in the state are informed that, the PAB meetings for the year 2025-26 are scheduled from 07.02.2025. It was requested to uplaod the Budget details of all the interventions in the PRABANDH portal by 31.01.2025.

They are also informed that, providing Transport/Escort facility to all the eligible students of the habitations without schools is one of the interventions for which the AWP & B 2025-26 propoals have to be submitted to the Government of India.

In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to submit the proposlas as shown below:

a) Transport/Escort facility to the eligible children of the habitations without schools in the age group of 6-15 years i.e.studying classs I to X in remote habitations.

b) Where establishment of a regular school is not viable with in a walking distance of 1 Kms in respect of Primary School,

c) Where establishment of a regular school is not viable with in a walking distance of 3 Kms in resepct of Upper Primary schools and

d) Where establishment of a regular school is not viable with in a walking distance of 5 Kms in respect of High schools.

e) All the District Educational Officers should submit a declaration stating that, transportation facility are not available in the habitations in respect of whom they have claimed transport/escort facility.

f) All the District Educational Officers should also submit a declaration stating the correct number of students belonging to the school less habitations are eligible for the transport/escort facility.

g) All the District Educational Officers should also verify the bank accounts of the students and certify the correctness of the bank accounts.

All the DEOs in the state have to furnish the information in the formats enclosed both in soft and hard copies to this office through email id:plgmists@gmail.com, by 25.01.2025 without fail, for taking further necessary action in the matter.

This reference should be treated as MOST URGENT and the proposals should be submitted with in the stipulated date without fail.
