Celebrations Utilization of Rs.28.00 lakhs towards Birthday celebrations of Late Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah, Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 14th February of every year as "Government Function" Permission Accorded Orders- Issued.

Read the following:-

3. e-file No.2705887 received from the Director of Social Welfare, AP., Tadepalli.

ORDER:

In the G.O 1st read above, the Government have declared to celebrate the birthday of Late Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 14th February of every year at his birth place Kurnool instead of Hyderabad as a "Government Function".

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Government have declared to celebrate the birthday of Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 14th February of every year as Government Function across all the District Head Quarters and an amount of Rs.3.00 lakhs is allotted to Kurnool District i.e., his birth place and Rs.1.00 lakh to remaining Districts and State Head Quarters.

3. In the circumstances reported by the Director of Social Welfare, A.P. vide reference 3rd read above, Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby permit the Director of Social Welfare, A.P. to utilize an amount Rs.28.00 lakhs (Rs.3.00 lakhs to Kurnool District i.e., his birth place and @ Rs.1.00 lakh to each District and State Head Quarters) towards birthday celebrations of Late Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 14th February of every year as Government Function across the State. The above expenditure shall incur from the Head of Account 2225-01-001-00-03-200-202-Functions and events.

4. The Director of Social Welfare, A.P. Tadepalli shall take further necessary action accordingly.
