SCHEME AND SYLLABUS FOR DEPARTMENTAL TEST 

DEPARTMENTAL TEST FOR GAZETTED OFFICERS OF THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT 

PAPER CODE No.s. (88,97)

Note :- Candidate should pass BOTH THE PAPERS AT A TIME

SYLLABUS 

# As per G.O.Ms.No.24, School Education (Services-I) Department , Dated:08.10.2024 

 The candidates are required to study the following books: 

 1st Paper ( 88 ) Syllabus:- 

1. The Telangana Education Act,1982 (Act No.1 of 1982). 

2. Rules relating to Secondary and Intermediate Education 

3. The 73rd and 74th amendments of constitution of India and Zilla Parishad, Mandal  Parishad, under the Telangana Panchayath Raj Act,2018 (Telangana Act No.5 of 

2018) with special reference of the schools. 

4. The Inspection code and rules as amended from time to time. 

5. The Grant in aid code, the Telangana private institutions Grant in aid (Regulation)  Act,1988 (Act 22 of 1998, the Telangana private Educational Institutions  Maintenance Grant (Regulation) Act,1995 (Act No,11 of 1995) 

6. Right to Education Act 2009 as amended from time to time and rules framed there on 

7. Right to Information Act-2005 

8. The Telangana Education institutions (Regulation of Admission and Prohibition of 

Capitation Fee) Act,1983 (Act No.5 of 1983) 

9. Recognition of Coaching Centers, Tutorials and rules issued from time to time. 

10. Rules and G.O.s relating to the National Council for Teacher Education Act,1993  (Central Act No.73 of 1993) and Rules issued for Private Training institutions from  time to time. 

 2nd Paper ( 97 ) Syllabus:- 

1. Classification, Control and Appeal (CCA) rules,1991 and Civil Service Conduct  rules,1964 

2. Rules relating Provident fund and Contributory Pension Scheme of employees. 

3. SSC new scheme rules as amended from time to time under CCE 

4. Educational Service rules and educational Subordinate Service rules, Ministerial  Service and Last Grade Service Rules.

5. Rules relating to Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) Model Schools, Open School Society, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan

6. Rules relating to the Telangana Departmental Inquiries (Enforcement of Attendance of Witnesses and Production of Documents) Act,1993 (Act No.7 of 1993)

7. Rules relating to Implementation of Mid Day Meal Scheme

8. Rules relating to the Lokayuktha Act,1983 (Act No.11 of 1983) as amended from time to time.

9. Rules and Act relating to Private Junior Colleges as amended from time to time

10. Rules relating to minority schools and institutions.

NOTE:-

 Candidate are required to be conversant with such amendments to the Acts and Rules, etc., mentioned above have been issued or published 6 months prior to the date of the Examinations.
